The OKTA Project
Many of you recently received an email about the Information Technology Services OKATA Project. The first I heard of this was 3 weeks ago by the first email shown below. They updated that information with the second email shown. So, the answer to the question that many of you had, is yes, this is a real thing. And, it will affect you, i.e., require you to do something. As it states in the second email from yesterday (2/19/19), you will receive another email asking you to take the steps listed below. The reason behind this change is to enhance your WSU account security. We all know the current system has not been very successful as evidenced by so many people’s email accounts getting hacked (and beyond).
