Greetings! My name is Jodi Harms, an MS-Ed, Instructional Design certified, Graphic Designer who will be the new Tree Fruit Media Assistant. I grew up in Western Washington and although I lived in Montana since 1994, I still have family and friends in the Seattle, Wenatchee, and Spokane areas so am pleased to be back in this region. My career and educational experience has progressed from graphic design to communications coordinator to instructional technology and design, so the opportunity to combine all of my education and professional experiences in this position is something I am delighted to have found. I’ve always enjoyed an interest in the outdoors and science – geology and wildflower/plant identification and observation have been some of my favorites – so I am looking forward to learning about agriculture and be part of sharing the vast amount of information and communication vital to this community. Recreationally, I am a hiker, skier, biker, and ice hockey player so I have a feeling that Wenatchee is going to suit me very well!
