Dr. Soon Li Teh received his PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Minnesota in August 2018. His current postdoctoral research in Professor Evans’ apple breeding program focuses on understanding fruit quality and disease resistance traits in apples. He also manages the pear rootstock breeding program with the aim of identifying dwarf rootstocks that are suited for modern high-density orchards.
