My name is Gabriela Bolanos, and I am joining Dr Carolina Torres for the master’s program this Spring 2024. I was born and grew up in Quito capital of Ecuador, recognized for its biodiversity and agriculture. I obtained my degree in Agriculture from The University of the Armed Forces in 2015. After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked for a pineapple and papaya exporting company, I also worked in extension for the government’s Ministry of Agriculture. I did my internship at the WTFRC and worked for the WSU-TFREC in extension.
My hobbies are hiking, dancing, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
