Louis (aka Louie) is a postdoctoral research associate working in Betsy Beers’ program on integrated pest management of insect pests in pear orchards. The goal of this program is to develop soft programs that conserve natural enemies while controlling primary pest outbreaks. They also hope to develop interactive tools that allow growers to stay involved and informed in the research efforts of the program. Welcome, Louie!
