My name is Harriet Ampofo, joining Dr Lee Kalcsits Lab for Master’s program this Spring 2024. I am a Ghanaian from the Ashan Region of Ghana where cocoa trees for making chocolates are produced. I gained my first degree in BSc Agriculture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2016. I received a diploma in Agriculture from Tel-Hai College, Israel in 2019. As an undergraduate I worked in various Agric Organizaons both in Ghana and Israel on Tomatoes, Peppers, Cocoa, Corn and cucumbers.
My current Research focuses on Adapng a carbohydrate-based fruitlet thinning model for Washington State Apple Producon. My hobbies are cooking, gardening and photography.
