Say “Hi” to Abu Tushar

My name is Abu Sina Md Tushar, and I am from Bangladesh. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and my master’s in Plant Pathology from Bangladesh Agricultural University. During my master’s program, I worked on mycotoxin contamination in corn hybrids and developed biocontrol products against aflatoxin accumulation. After completing my master’s degree, I joined the Plant Bacteriology and Biotechnology Laboratory as a research assistant, where I worked on the molecular characterization of citrus pathogens and their sustainable management. These experiences inspired me to do research on tree fruit pathology and controlling mycotoxin contamination.  I will be joining Dr. Achour Amiri’s research team on the post-harvest fungal diseases of apples. During my free time, I love travelling, watching TV series, biking, and cooking delicious food.
