WSU Cloud Storage

Free Cloud Hosting Using OneDrive

Many of you have asked about cloud storage and accounts for backing up files/folders and sharing. As part of our Office 365 subscription, you have access to a free CloudDrive account.

What is OneDrive?

OneDrive will provide 1 terabyte of free, cloud-based, file storage for all active students, faculty, and staff associated with their WSU Network ID.

Files stored on OneDrive will be available from multiple devices via the internet. They can be synchronized on local devices so that they can be used offline. The files on OneDrive can also be shared with others both inside and outside of WSU.

Note: HIPAA data is not allowed to be placed in any available cloud storage, whether temporary or permanent.

To get more information about OneDrive and how to install it on your computer and mobile devices visit the IT website. There you will find a linked tab for Frequently Asked Question and one for Installation. You should also find contact information in case you have additional questions.
